Can I get a Certificate of Employment from VPM?

This article explains the process of obtaining employment-related documents for Remote Team Members working through VPM Platform. It clarifies the roles and responsibilities and guides users on alternative document options like Proof of Income.

As a Remote Team Member (RTM) working through VPM, you are classified as an independent contractor. Because VPM serves as a platform connecting you with Companies rather than a direct employer, there are specific ways to document your engagement and income.

1. Certificate of Employment (COE)

VPM cannot issue a COE. To obtain one, you must reach out to the Company you currently or previously provided services for through the platform.

2. Steps to Download Proof of Income

If you need verification of your earnings, follow these steps in your VPM account:

  1. Click on Reports in the main navigation.
  2. Select All Reports.
  3. Click on Generate Proof of Income.
  4. Select your desired Date Range.
  5. Toggle Complete Earnings if you require a full history.
  6. Click Generate Proof of Income to finish and download your report.
