Can I message a company before applying for a job?

To maintain a professional environment and protect the privacy of all users, Remote Team Members (RTMs) cannot initiate a message to a Company before applying for a job.

When Messaging Becomes Available

The messaging feature on VPM Solutions is activated only under the following circumstances:

  • After You Apply: Once you have submitted an application for an open position, the Company will have the option to open a dialogue with you.
  • If a Company Contacts You: A Company may find your profile while searching for talent and initiate a conversation with you directly, even if you haven't applied to one of their specific jobs.
💡 Recommendation: If you have questions about a role, the best way to get noticed is to submit a high-quality application with a strong cover letter. You can then ask your questions once the Company engages with you.
