How UTC Time works

The pay period ends every Sunday at 23:59 UTC (Universal Coordinated Time).  Any hours logged after this time will be paid out on the next pay period.

This can cause some confusion, 23:59 UTC time is 17:59 CST (Central Standard Time) and 07:59 am PHT (Philippine Time), Monday.

If you work on Sundays or Sunday nights be mindful of when you enter your time.

The end time determines if time is logged for the current or the next pay period.

Example

For example, if a remote team member from the Philippines works Sunday night from 8:00 pm PHT Sunday to 7:00 am PHT Monday and enters their end time before 07:59 am PHT Monday, they will have their pay included in the current pay period. If their hours end after 07:59 am PHT Monday, then the time logged will be paid in the following pay period (for example 10:00 pm PHT Sunday to 9:00 am PHT Monday).

You can review your local time zone with this link and compare it to UTC (Universal Coordinated Time) this will help you determine which pay period your time will be paid out.
