This article will help you understand Stripe's minimum payout requirements.
Minimum Payout Amounts
The minimum payout amount is determined by the smallest amount Stripe can process with its banking partners.
💡TIP: If you notice a failed payment in your Quick View Report, verify that the amount meets or exceeds the minimum payout threshold for your respective country.
Example 1:
In El Salvador, Stripe has a minimum payout of $30 USD per transaction. If the payout amount is less than this, the funds will stay in your Stripe account until additional payments are received, raising your balance above the minimum threshold.
Example 2:
In the Philippines, Stripe requires a minimum payout of 20 PHP per transaction. If the payout amount is below this threshold, the funds will remain in your Stripe account until additional payments are received, bringing your balance above the minimum threshold.
Example 3:
In Mexico, Stripe requires a minimum payout of 10 MXN per transaction. If the payout is less than this amount, the funds will stay in your Stripe account until additional payments are received, exceeding the minimum required balance.
This is particularly crucial for one-time payments: if a company issues a one-time payment below the minimum amount, the funds will stay in your Stripe account until the balance exceeds the required minimum.
For Companies:
To avoid delays for your remote team members, ensure that the minimum payout amount is met. If you're issuing a one-time payment, consider waiting until your account balance reaches the minimum payout requirement.
